Man Gets Life for Eminem Studio Murder

PONTIAC, Mich. – A man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole in the shooting death of the owner of a recording studio once used by rapper Eminem, authorities said.

Terrence T. Moore, 36, was found guilty in November of first-degree murder in the January 2004 slaying of Amjed “AJ” Abdallah.

Police said Moore, a rap musician also known by the nicknames “13,” “TT” and “Mad Dog,” shot Abdallah and stole a mixing board because he believed he was overcharging for studio time.

Eminem used Abdallah’s Studio 8 in Ferndale to record his multi-platinum “The Slim Shady LP” in 1997.
